NRC > 1.0. NRC above 1.00 is expected for thick or suspended products — under ASTM C423, edge diffraction lets a finite sample absorb more sound than its flat face area implies.
Notes: WILLTEC open-cell melamine foam, non-repeating omni-directional sculpted pattern, 30-degree bevel edges. Panel/baffle size 24x48 in, offered in 2 in or 3 in thickness. NRC values from spec sheet (ASTM C423-90a): natural finish 0.75 (2 in) / 1.05 (3 in); water-based acoustic coated 0.95 (2 in) / 1.10 (3 in). Reported nrc here (1.05) is the natural 3 in finish, the thickness for which per-baffle Sabins absorption data is also published (avg 12.9 Sabins/baffle). Hangs via integrated straps and grommets, single or multiple-stacked suspension.
