Notes: Perforated aluminum-framed panel with 12mm Soft Sound (recycled PET felt) face and Soft Sound acoustic PET backer; 2'x4'x1.5" panel (8 sq ft). True NRC 0.90 as tested for ceiling installation with acoustic backer (ASTM C423). NRC drops to 0.80 for wall mounting with acoustic backer, and to 0.35 (ceiling) / 0.30 (wall) if the translucent polycarbonate backer is used instead of the acoustic backer — figure used here (0.90) is the ceiling/acoustic-backer configuration, the highest published rating.
